Question / Help Error encoding with encoder

Hi, since i have updated my OBS to the last version, i have (sometimes) this error while i'm streaming that make my OBS freeze and i have to close it by task manager... i never had this error with the 21 version.

Can someone help me please?

Already tried... installed new drivers today. Card broken i dont think so because if i rollback to OBS Studio 21 it never freeze/crash anymore even after hrs of streaming with the same game and same settings.

I can use Nvenc (new or old) or x264 (but i prefer to use Nvenc)

I think use cleaner to remove NVIDIA driver and after restart install again.

Sorry i dont know what qsv is.. i will try to do a clean drivers installation with DDU

Nope, i only have Nvenc (new), Nvenc or x264. I dont have qsv

Sometimes you need to change the settings in the BIOS and install drivers from the Intel website. You have an Intel processor (from the 2nd generation) which is equipped with the appropriate tool, you only need to activate it.

Sorry but, how can this fix my Nvenc problem? I dont want to use qsv for streaming...

Rolling back to OBS 21 means going from the new NVENC encoder to the old. You can probably use the old encoder in 24.x without a problem. If this is the case, the issue is that your Nvidia drivers are not actually the latest, as the new NVENC encoder requires them.

Ehm, nope... in the 21 there is Nvenc (new) and i used it without any problem. I have the newest drivers because i played the new COD and i have to use the new drivers for it.

So I've had the same issue but was able to fix it. Error appeared when transferring into gameplay from the menu or out of gameplay into the menus correct? Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has an issue with RTX cards and NVENC causing this problem. The only fix right now is to stream using x264 with a preset that your system can run. If you want to run it with NVENC you have to wait for an update from Infinity Ward.
