Hey,

started streaming couple weeks ago but I am still not sure about the Settings.

This is my Hardware:

i7-920 @2,67 Ghz (1st gen, Bloomfield)
6 GB RAM
ATI HD 6870
Asus P6T SE

My upload is more than enough for good quality ~9 Mbps

Actually I want to offer my viewers the best quality but the best quality isnt helpful if people cant watch stream because its stuttering or whatever.
2 days ago for example I streamed 7 hours with 1080p @30 fps @3500 Bitrate and I had 0 lost frames. Yesterday I streamed 2 Hours same quality and lost 5% frames...

Which setting u would recommend, I am not partnered but after a certain time I get quality options...

1080p @ 30fps @ 3500 Bitrate
720p @ 30fps @ 2400 Bitrate

Maybe 60 fps for 720p Stream, had the feeling it looks bit smoother but also needs more performance. I am just confused atm, running different settings every day.

best regards and thanks in advance

If you're not having any problems uploading those bitrates to (presumably Twitch), then you need to concern yourself with:

1) being able to encode the video well
2) your viewers being able to download the video you're uploading

For 1), check for duplicated frames in your log file. More than about 1% or so results in a choppy looking video. If you have too many duplicated frames, you must lessen the load on your CPU by eliminating other resident programs, streaming at a lower resolution or fps, or using a less CPU-intensive preset.

For 2) its sad but true that an enthusiast's upload is often more than a potential viewer's download. So you must restrict your bitrate uploaded to what your viewers can download, or else they'll have buffering.

If you want specific advice, choose a stream when you had trouble, and upload its log file.
