Question / Help Encoding problem with overload

Hi,

I'm here today for help asking about my obs. I record on average 2 hours in a row (it's important to say it I think) and the problem is that I noticed that on the video towards the end (around 1 hour of record) it displays: encoding in overload and it's annoying because on the video jerks and from time to time it freezes. I don't understand since I think I have a good computer.

I hope you find a solution

Have a good day

Thank you for your reply,
I waited until the error message, I hope that's what you want

No, I am saying that during your operation of OBS, no stream or recording was performed. This means there is no useful data in the log.

In your log is present only this:

OBS runs only one minute and then is quit. Without a recording or streaming session started and finished, there is no performance data in the logfile.

I don't understand, I record and I stop the record but it doesn't appear in the log.

Are you uploading the Current log or the last log?

Are you quitting OBS before uploading the log?

Open OBS. Start recording. Stop recording. Upload Current log BEFORE quitting.

A few dropped frames.

For local recording use CQP rate control and a quality setting between 14 (very good) and 23 (pretty good).

CBR is for streaming.

In settings -> output -> recording
I changed rate control from CBR to CQP and I enter 14 in CQ level but in the log it doesn't change anything when I make : upload current log file

I already have the problem https://obsproject.com/logs/QQkEZqw_jMWjrrFi

22:15:29.069: Video stopped, number of skipped frames due to encoding lag: 33/3102 (1.1%)

Encoding lag.

22:08:22.838: YUV mode: 709/Full

Change that to 709/Partial. You're increasing load.

Other things you can do: Decrease your canvas/output resolutions.

Encoding with AMF isn't free. I'm not familiar with its settings because I don't use it, but unlike with NVENC, the load on your GPU for rendering and encoding are using compute capacity on the card.

I would try reducing canvas resolution (not output) also to 720 and see if the error persists.
I change 1080p to 720p and 60fps to 30fps and for the moment it works, but I'm very angry because I payed my setup like 3000 $ and I have to record in 720p and 30fps I don't understand. I know I record like 8 hours per day but I think with a i9-9900k and a RTX 2060 I can record in 1080p and 60fps I think there is a problem!

That answer was not to you. You're not using AMF, you have an Nvidia card.
