Question / Help Encoding overloaded

Hello guys. I found some good settings. The game is running smooth, and stream runs smooth as well, but sometimes appears the error "Encoding overloaded" and for 15-30 seconds, the live isn't running smooth. I changed the settings, but with no luck. I hope you will help me.

use NVenc - ur CPU isnt strong enough for gaming (cpu heavy games) and encoding h264 for your stream // modern games require a 6C/12T CPU for that -> some scenarios would even be better with 8C/16T

I'm playing CS:GO and while streaming i have 150-200 fps. When i stream with NVENC, stream looks worse. :/ I saw on youtube a guy who streams in 1080p 60 fps with good quality and he have i5 4460 too. xD

dude -> i can stream in 4k60 - on my own server, with 50000kbps bitrate -> but neither yt or twitch would accept that // if he streams on yt he might be able to have a bitrate that fits 1080p60

and 720p48 3500kbps would lok "okay" - but not more

Allright, I understand. But I have one more question. If I reduce the bitrate to something like 2000-2500, I can stream? Or if I choose another x264 preset?

720p60 with 2000-2500kbps looks like sh*t
720p30 with 2000-2500kbps looks barely ok

if u want higher frame rate 720p48 with 3500kbps (if ur upload is capable of that (min 6mbit))

i cant help u with NVenc -> im in the #redteam

you can calc your framerate and bitrate yourself

calc:
lets say u have 6mbit upload = 6000kbps are max
so u can stream at 3500kbps (due to it will peak up to 5000kbps)

im talking about 720p ONLY now:
now u devide your 3500kbps / Framerate -> in our case 48 -> 3500/48= 72.91 // now 72.91/8 (to get to kilobytes) = 9.1kilobytes per frame as average

with 10kilobytes per frame average it will look ok (for 720p) - not great but ok // ps i know that the i-frames will be larger and b-frames will be smaller -> but here we just care about average per frame

// now why 720p60 will look bad with 3500kbps (with most encoders) -> 3500/60/8= 7.2 -> you have 26% less bitrate per frame (as 720p48) in average -> si this will look worse
// now with 720p30 -> 3500/30/8= 14,58 -> u have 60% more bitrate per frame as (720p48) -> so this will look better
