Question / Help Encoding Overloaded with an RTX 2080.

So ever since I got my new PC I've been getting the error "Encoding Overloaded! Consider lowering your video settings". I'm trying to record Minecraft at 240FPS - something I know is achievable after seeing many YouTubers do it with worse graphics cards and processors than mine. I've changed the bitrate all the way down to 1000 and it does not solve the issue - leading me to believe it is solely down to the amount of FPS. When I decrease the FPS, the error message goes away. What I've noticed is when I hit record with anything higher than 140fps really, my GPU or CPU (depending on the encoder that I am using) will shoot to 100% with OBS using about 90% of it. With an intel core i7 8700 and RTX 2080 I really thought I'd at least be able to record in 240fps and maybe higher. I have my last log from when I last got the issue so I'm hoping someone can help me out. I tried switching versions of OBS and at first this worked but then the error came back after a couple of minutes.

Use ShadowPlay for this. Trying to run a preview while recording at that framerate is going to overload your GPU.

If ShadowPlay can't do it either, then I don't know what to suggest.

Shadowplay runs 60FPS maximum so that is unfortunately not an option. I've been trying to contact the people I've seen do it to see how they manage it.

20:43:01.174: Video stopped, number of skipped frames due to encoding lag: 89/2931 (3.0%)

You're not getting much encoding lag. I would just increase your CQP number a bit.

Quality rate control. 0 is theoretically lossless. 14/15 are really high quality, very large files.

A range between 14 and 23 is usual.
