Encoding Overloaded when Alt+Tabbing

This hasn't happen to me at all until recently, no hardware changes either. I am doing a local recording through OBS and when I alt+tab either out of or back into my fullscreen game, I get an encoding overloaded and OBS stops recording.

It's about 50% of the times I alt+tab. Usually a reboot will prevent it from happening for a bit, but I feel like if my computer is slugging it can happen more often, perhaps after heavy use or a long period without a reboot.

What can I upload here to help determine the exact cause, and/or what can I do to prevent this?

did you ever find a solution for this? pretty much same issue that eventually results in an OBS crash

Sorry, I don't recall what my solution was. I expect it was happening with a specific game. If you can manage to use borderless fullscreen instead, that might work. But if that's not an option, there's a good log analyzer tool here that might help determine the issue.
