Question / Help Encoding Overloaded - Settings working earlier today

Getting the obvious Encoding Overloaded error. I've of course looked at the FAQ. Lowering a variety of settings, changing options, reinstalling client, updating gpu drivers. These settings have been tested and tweaked over the last week however all of a sudden I get the Encoding Overload notice if I were to stream or record and no setting change seems to fix this.

Hopefully someone can point to which setting has gone wrong in the last few hours because I'm sadly out of ideas.

It seems your GPU load reaches 100%, making it overloaded, so neither NVENC nor the frame compositing of OBS gets enough power. Did you limit the fps of the game? It should be limited to 60 fps. As alternative, try streaming and recording at 30 fps instead of 60 fps.

I replaced the GPU, bought a new one same day. According to benchmark it was a 95% upgrade over my old one. GTX 970 to 1080, same issue occurred. I connected an old HD I had in an enclosure up to one of my USB 3 ports and recorded the videos to it. The issue resolved itself on recordings.

After I reinstalled the old card, still no issues. I had to lower my streaming setup from High to Baseline profile to stream and record but in the end it was related to reading and writing to the same HD.

Thank you for taking a look at the log, I couldn't make heads or tails of it myself.
