Question / Help encoding overloaded consider

Why is my obs saying encoding overloaded consider turning down video settings or using a faster encoding preset. Its lagging some times the cpu is not even over 80% cpu in my task manager in load?. Without a log not sure why your system has this issue, but that's what the "encoding overloaded" error refers to-- the CPU if you're using x264 encoding (which your screenshot shows you are), your GPU if you're using NVENC (which you might want to consider trying).

i have tried gpu but there are too many pixels When I stream it out

I have also try these settings Look at the log. Its altso laggy with these settings...My old cpu could stream in This quality. But my new one cannot and it is better than the old one... my old one was a i7-8700K and the new is a i9-9900K

Windows is out of date and game mode is on and cannot be turned off. You may wish to check the link in my signature about how to turn this feature off. It can negatively impact OBS performance.

Many of your scenes combine display and game captures. This is not recommended.

You're using the faster preset and getting a bit of encoding lag. All settings above veryfast significantly increase CPU load with only marginal improvements in visual quality.

Please use hastebin, pastebin or a similar site for logs, or use the built-in log uploader in OBS to upload it to this site. There's no reason to make people view ads and do captchas just to view a logfile.

You are overloading your encoder.

You have selected a preset faster than "faster" or "veryfast" and that is overloading your CPU. Either that, or use the NVENC encoder to use the hardware encoder on. your GPU.
