My (first) build is:
-GTX 1060 3GB
-i5 7600k Kaby Lake
-h115i Cooling
-Z270-P Motherboard
-650W Power Supply
-WD 1TB Hard Drive
-G.SKILL Aegis 8GB 3000mhz RAM
-Thermal Lake 31 ATX Case
I always get "HIGH Encoding!" even though my CPU is barely being used (20%). I'm wondering, what am I doing wrong here? I posted a recent test stream log below. During the short test, I received the high encoding error message. Settings: 1280x720p output, 3,500 bitrate, CBR rate control, x264 Very Fast, Main profile, 30fps
I can stream using NVEHC with all of the same settings, but when I do, it bottlenecks my game and even though I get 120 fps on screen on minecraft, the game itself runs at what seems to be 30 fps for me. After streaming with the x264 preset, this obviously went away.
Its not an issue with my interent either, I get 14 mb upload consistently and am only allocating 3,500 for my bitrate.
