Question / Help Encoding Overload message

Hi there, I have been trying for months to troubleshoot this myself, but have had no luck. I am familiar enough with OBS to be dangerous. I am wanting to use it to mostly record software tutorials and minecraft gameplay. I might be interested in streaming later. I am constantly adjusting settings, but still seem to get dropped frames in my videos.

My Latest Log File

I am not sure what all to include here except for the log file which is above this line. I am using a HP Envy running Windows 10. I upgraded it to 16gb of Ram and a AMD FX-8800P Processor.

Anyone have some ideas or thoughts for me to try? Be gentle as I don't 100% understand all the options and settings in OBS, but willing to learn.

Unfortunately, your processor is what's holding you back with x264.

What you could try though is using AMF/VCE encoding instead of x264. Apparently the FX-8800P supports VCE 3.0, so it should be able to handle things fairly well.

Hey thanks! My OBS did not have an encode option other than x264. Did some research on the AMF/VCE and it led me to some downloads. Installed some things and I have .01% dropped frames now. It is not 100% clear, but probably about 95% clear. It looks good enough for what I need. Thank you so much.
