Question / Help Encoding option AVermedia

Hello,

I saw that on XSplit, there is an encoding option for AVerMedia LiveGamer HD. This is very interesting for people like me who are struggling with the greedy games in CPU.

But on OBS there is not this option?

I will find this damaging, as it would really help for certain conditions ...

Is it planned to add this option in OBS Studio?

You definitely do not want to use this encoder. It's very, very bad. If you're recording, leverage a hardware encoder that is actually decent, like NVENC or QuickSync (QSV).

If you're streaming, none of the available hardware encoders are very viable for streaming, as they required much higher bitrates for similar quality.
