encoding lag

i made a post a bit ago about blurry colors but found out that it was on my end and i was overthinking it and it turns out it was just in my head

but i have another issue

as before i was using AV1 i found out adobe premire pro can't take those files to be edited down, so i switched over to HEVC

but my issue now is no matter the settings i change to, i am constantly getting encoder overloaded, or Skipped frames

after trying all what you said, the two issues i had was that after disabling HAGS, was that my pc started running largely worse to the point everything was freezing, the fps issue though if i set it to 60 as my monitors are 144hz through the videos the jumped frames are largely noticeable

changing multipass mode also did not seem to improve it

In the log both monitors are set @ 120HZ, not 144. As noted above, you're recording @ 120FPS. There's no rendering lag, just encoding lag. All you need to do is use a faster Preset, P3 should do the trick.

Potential audio issue, see link below....

If you lower the frame-rate in OBS to 60FPS, P5 is the correct Preset.

Encoding AV1 now, not HEVC. Speed things up, ditch the Fullres & the slow P7 Preset.

Timing is off now with the monitors @ 144HZ refresh rate, should have left them @ 120HZ.

Tip: Rendering lag is GPU overload
