Encoding Error

Hi I ran into an error while I was recording. I left my PC recording a whole day event. When I got back, I got and encoder error because I had insufficient space left in my disk. It managed to record into a 140+ GB video file however I am unable to open it with any video player. Can I still use this?

If it is recorded as *.mp4 or *.mov, the whole file is irrevocably lost. If it is recorded as *.mkv or *.flv, you can recover its contents by remuxing or recoding it.
