Question / Help Encoder error

I've been using OBS for 2-3 years without any issues, but when I attempted to do a screen recording this week, I got this consistent error:

NVENC Error: init_encoder: nvEncGetEncodePresetConfig failed: 15
(NV_ENC_ERR_INVALID_VERSION)

I uninstalled and reinstalled the software to the newest version. Same error. Any ideas?
