In what way does it cause a crash? I do use stream elements as im using the streamelements OBS downloaded from their site. But at moment im not using any overlays from there Im using overlays from player.me. Prior to this I had 3 or 4 encoder crashes and had to restart my stream. What I have done as a course of finding out what the cause - I unisntalled Itunes and Qt time on my computer in order to uninstall the aac encoder that is used by obs from them. Ive just had one stream of over an hour and i didnt have any encoder issues as such though I will test some more before concluding that they caused the issues i were having.

"In what way does it cause a crash? "
that's a question you need to ask the streamelement dudes
thats a issue comes not from obs

Ahh ok so need to let them know that for some reason Im getting crashes that is being caused by them. Well ill have to stress test obs a bit longer to see if the issue self replicates and if it does take it from there

Please use the original OBS available from the obsproject site: https://obsproject.com/download
Everything else isn't supported in this forum.
If you use a modified version compiled by some 3rd party, please contact that 3rd party for support - we in this forum cannot know what kind of programming they did for their modification, so we never know if a crash is caused by their modification or by an issue within the core OBS.
It's not that we don't like the modders - it's only we simply don't know what they modified, so we can never see if their modding caused an issue, or if the issue is present in the original OBS in the first place.
