Hey there! Im a content streamer, using vlc and game capture to both broadcast and record content I'm broadcasting. When setting up, I just let the installer detect and use whatever settings it recommended. Anywhere between 5 minutes to 45 minutes into streaming and obs will crash, causing my screen to go full black as if it loses power briefly before coming back on with a window stating it encountered an encoder error. Usually VLC will still be playing audio only and showing a white screen as well. This past time I was just using the program to record some content offline and it made it about 10 minutes in before crashing. However, this time it didn't have an encoder error pop up and instead just one stating it crashed and to log the error report.
Appreciate any and all help! Im not very familiar with many of the settings as I was able to use the program with no issues at all on my old dinosaur of a PC. I'm now running on a brand new i9-11900 with an rtx 3090 and having issues lol my luck of course!
