I had encoder error twice in a row, today and yesterday. Black screen in obs and the stream stopped, around at the same time, after the 3 hour mark. I'm using hardware encoder with an AMD 6700XT. Log analyser says the gpu is maxed and overloaded. I use vsync and limit fps to 60, game resolution is 1920x1080, I wanted to stream at 1080p 60fps, no recording. I could stream for longer times (6-8 hours without encoder error) using the x264 software encoder, but I wanted to change it because the CPU was running a little hot, but still at acceptable levels, CPU is a 7600x. Should I use the the software encoder or is there some solution for the hardware encoding other than lowering the resolution to 720p?
