Question / Help Encode lag when recording, only source is capture card.

Is there straight up no fix for this? I'm still having this issue as of 6/24. Uninstalled/reinstalled OBS, clean reinstalled gpu drivers, reseated my gpu, updated to 2004, rebooted, tried different settings, nothing is working. There is no excuse for a 2060 to have a seconds worth of encode lag every few minutes. This just boggles me. My temps and my usage is low. Does anyone have any ideas? I'd love to get this fixed! This isn't a capture card only issue, this is a general OBS recording issue. This only happens when I'm recording. I don't know what to do.

i have obs live enabled but it still persists on stock obs

Double post (wish there was a longer edit timeframe or whatever).

I had this issue with stock OBS a long time ago but I'm testing right now and it seems like there's less encode lag? There is still some but it isn't as constant and it isn't as much. Can't verify if not using OBS.Live fixed it, but now I feel stupid if its true :P

I'm still testing so in the meantime any suggestions is appeciated. Sorry for bringing this up on and on and on, I just found it incredibly weird that this started happening.
