I think I know the answer to this question but a confirmation/clarification would be GREAT!
So, obviously, when recording with FRAPS you and to compress/encode the file before you upload to youtube.
However, OBS already has the file in MP4 format.
So, it's 100% ready to upload to youtube correct? Or does should it still go through an encoding step?
Also, when performing a local recording, does the bit rate settings effect the quality of the locally recorded file?
I image when recording locally I can crank up the fps and resolution to be able to record higher quality videos.
