Elgato Video Source plays monitor audio over scenes it isn't in

I'm currently in the process of moving my Twitch stream setup back over to OBS Studio after being unhappy with Streamlabs OBS for a few reasons. Problem is, I seem to have hit a snag in the way that my Elgato capture card is outputting audio and I have no clue as to why this could be. The Elgato video source in my main gameplay scene seems to be outputting both monitor audio and capture audio while set to capture only. On top of this, the monitor audio will not mute or lower in volume no matter how many things I try to mess with, and it now seems to be bleeding over and playing in scenes the Source isn't even in! I'm super confused because this is something I don't think I've ever had happen using stock OBS Studio in the past. Also, idk if this could possibly have to do with anything but I did install the StreamElements OBS.Live plugin earlier today as well.

If anyone has any clue as to how to help me with this it'd be much appreciated, and I can supply screenshots of settings etc. if you need 'em!
