Elgato Stream Deck wireless?

Apologies ahead if this is in the wrong location.

Hey guys; Im kind of new to the Elgato stream decks but have heard they are fantastic to use for Live streaming. The live streaming we do is DJ live streaming and what I want to do is instead of me being at the computer constantly switching scenes in OBS, I want to be able to mingle in the crowd but be able to use a device (such as the Elgato) to switch scenes here and there while viewing the show from either my phone or a tablet.

I dont see how Elgato has a preview screen to see the current scene after you switch it, but maybe Im wrong. So I also looked at the Elgato stream decks and most of them seem to all be wired which in my opinion defeats the purpose of using wired if it has to be plugged into a usb source or something at your computer. Might as well just switch scenes in OBS and save the $$$, but maybe Im wrong how these devices are plugged in.

In either case; can anyone recommend the right device for what I want to do? Thanks

You can use something like the obs-websockets plugin, and your cellphone (on the same wifi network) with something like the t2t2 control interface. It'll allow you to do stuff like change scenes remotely.
It isn't a super-hard setup, but it isn't mindless turnkey either; you have to make sure your phone and computer can talk to each other, and know the IP address.
You can do a lot of cheeky stuff with it, with a bit of cleverness.

You can also grab the StreamDeck Mobile app, but it's a per-month subscription fee rather than a one-and-done purchase. But it acts like a Streamdeck, but on your phone, and doesn't have to be wired.

The hardware Streamdecks are wired, yes. They allow you to do A LOT OF STUFF, but most importantly get the trigger keys off your main keyboard. OBS inherently uses hotkeys (not shortcuts) so if you assign 'H' to something, it will trigger while you're typing the word 'happy' in any program, not just OBS. The SD removes that issue. It also lets you do multi-action macros (switch to scene X, mute mic, wait Y seconds, switch to scene Z, unmute mic), and there are a ton of plugins for it to extend its functionality even further, to do stuff like one-button to send a Tweet.

You can set up the Advanced Scene Switcher for that, if you are using OBS Studio. Have a hotkey to start the timed auto-advance cycle for when you want to get out on the floor, and another to return to manual control when you're back.

As a note, OBS Studio is not SLOBS. SLOBS is a derivative, hacked-up version forked from the OBS Studio source code (since the OBS Project is open-source) with far less functionality and intentionally-broken plugin and scene compatibility to try to lock new users who don't know any better into using their worse version.
