Question / Help ElGato Not Recognized

Every time I install OBS, it recognizes my ElGato. After the first time (after I close the program), when I try to reopen it it doesn't recognize any devices besides my webcam. If I uninstall and reinstall the program, it recognizes it for that first time again. Rinse and repeat. Any suggestions?

It probably means you are running the 64bit version instead of the 32bit version those usbsequent times. That device only works with the 32bit version of OBS right now.

How do I make sure I download the 32-bit and not the 64-bit?

When you download OBS, you get both automatically.

To use the 32bit OBS, go to C/users/Yourname/program files(x86)/obs.

It should be located in C:\Program FIles (x86)\OBS. It shouldn't be in your Users folder...

Alternatively, you can download the zipped binaries directly, unzip them, and just run the executable in the 32bit folder.
