right click the elgato in OBS, go to properties, then click configure. this should bring up the elgato settings. You should be able to configure the proper input in there.
I think you were in the IRC chat earlier, yes? Anyway, what ended up being the issue is that Preview Stream had to be pushed to activate the device or whatever, and then he could change settings in the device properties.
