Question / Help Elgato lagging and frame skipping

I have a elgato and when i try to use it with obs it lags and is in like a slow motion. Ive tried lowering the quality and everything.. nothing works. When i tried it with xsplit it worked just fine.

Your webcam is set to display with 1920x1080, which will need a lot of your cpu power. You probably re-sized it to be smaller on your scene anyways, so I'd recommend you to instead select a lower resolution in the webcam's properties in OBS until it has roughly the same size as before in its re-sized form (this way you're making your cpus job a lot easier). If that is not enough you can also try to bring down your resolution a bit more, try 1280x720 as your base resolution (as that is the size of the elgato) and downscale that to ~ 540p That should deliver a decent quality at a bit rate of 1000.
