So my current issue is no matter what settings I use there are always problems with streaming using the Elgato capture device. I have heard from a variety of YouTubers and Streamers that the Elgato does not work anymore. I know the Elgato used to work with older OBS versions, excluding the gradual mic desync. But now the audio will never align with the webcam, and also if I use buffering on the Elgato the stream will eventually end up choppy and unwatchable. The method of setting the mic inside the webcam did not work very well, nor can I use it because there is no noise gate. I am wondering if the issue is being worked on, or if I should get a new capture card/device. I cannot post log files at the moment due to streaming with weird settings that seem to work the best. If log files are needed I can change to the proper settings and post as a reply. This is just a general question about the commonly known Elgato/OBS issues. Is there a solution or are Elgato users screwed?
