I want to use the Elgato to stream my PS3 but it doesn't appear as a video capture device. I've tried reinstalling it multiple times and it still doesn't appear! Can anyone help me please?

Here are my specs just in case
Intel® Core™ i5-3570K 3.40 GHz 6MB Intel Smart Cache
16GB DDR3/1600MHz Dual Channel Memory
AMD Radeon HD 7750 1GB
Windows 8

Okay, now it shows up since I downloaded that but it says no signal. (I am positive that it isn't being used by anything other than OBS) what should I do now?

Make sure your device is turned on and check the configuration window that your device you want to capture from is chosen as well.

It's on. It's saying no signal. My PS3 is on and in a game. My Elgato is always on as long as its plugged in (which it is). I would rather not use Xsplit since OBS works so much better cept for this.

I understand, but you did also choose the PS3 in the drop down list in its configuration window? If you right click on your Elgato source and then click configure, you can choose a device you want to capture from, since you're going to capture from your PS3 you'll also need to choose PS3 in its settings, and make sure that you capture PS3 through component and not HDMI (PS3 has HDCP).

Okay, Video and Sound works great! Unfortunately my microphone is delayed about 3 seconds. Is there any way I can fix that?

In settings, go to Audio, in Mic Time Offset, try 1500 ms, if it's still not synced up properly, try to increase the value until you're satisfied.

I have a problem kind of like this. When I go into OBS and I try to create a Global Source, The Elgato does not even show up. When I first got it the Elgato showed up as a device but now it wont come up as a device. Any ideas why this happens?
