Question / Help elgato HD60S+ Problem

Hi folks,

i have a problem with my Elgato HD60S+. The cpu jumps right to 100% utilization, after i toggle it on in OBS. Can someone explain, why it is happening and help?

System is MacBook Air (2020) with macOS 10.15.4, an i7 and 8gb RAM

Please post a log with your issue! Here's how...

OBS Studio creates a log file each time you run it which contains very useful diagnostic information. Without a log file, it's much harder for any support volunteers to figure out problems and your post may be ignored. To upload a log file, go to the Help menu > Log Files > Upload Last Log...

Open OBS. Start an output session (streaming or recording). Observe your issue. Stop the output session. Upload the Current log without quitting OBS.

The bottom line is probably just that the MacBook Air is uniquely ill-suited to streaming. But your log could show what changes in configuration to make to minimize it.

You can also try running the auto-configuration wizard from the Tools menu.
