Elgato HD60 S+ not working on Linux

Hi, I recently switched to Linux from Windows, and I bought a used HD60 S+ online when I saw that my current HD60 S isn't compatible with Linux. I'm not getting any luck with the S+, though, and I'm not sure if the capture card or my setup is to blame. The capture card lights up when connected, and the system recognizes the S+ correctly as far as I can tell, but nothing I do gets any signal at all (except for a rare dark green flash). The signal from my Switch isn't passing through to my monitor either. Any ideas? Thanks!
