I'm having issues with my HD60 PRO making audio popping and crackling noises when I stream or preview using OBS studio. When I use the provided ELGATO game capture software I have no issues with sound quality. I have tried both wav out and direct sound and have the same audio crackling and popping about every 5 secs. The only thing that seems to make a difference is if I change the HD60 capture mode to 720p instead of 1080p the crackling goes away but then my video quality suffers. I have no issues streaming other content from my PC through OBS.
My setup is as follows:
cpu: i7-7700K 4.2GHz
memory: 16gb
disk: SSD samsung 960pro
gpu: Saphire RX480 8gb
Please let me know if there is anything I can try. I'm not sure if a log file helps for this type of issue because it is observed, but let me know if you need any logs to help diagnose.
