Bug Report Elgato HD60 - Gameplay slowdown at 1080p60fps

Unsure of if this is a bug with OBS or just the HD60. Maybe it's something on Elgato's side. But, when streaming at 1080p60fps, the gameplay footage slows down to what appears to be half speed. 1080p30fps seems to be fine.

That's strange. Could you give me a log file and video?

Log File is attached.

Video [OBS Recorded Using Dropbox due to file limit]: https://www.dropbox.com/s/e154o2bs60upncz/2014-09-20-0123-14.flv?dl=0

Video [Stream Export - To youtube]: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h58Wsaqg0Jw
Vdieo [ Stream - From Twitch]: http://www.twitch.tv/lightningclouds/b/570359184

My computer isn't the best, but the problem persisted with 1080p30fps, 720p60fps. I was able to stream 1080p60fps before, and using other programs (which sucks). I was using the HD60 as well.

First, turn on "use buffering" on the elgato in the source properties and see if that affects it.

Not sure. Show me a new video where 'use buffering' is enabled. Or did it not affect it at all? It should have had some effect.

I took a more in-depth look at the videos. There's something really strange going on here. The system's timing seems to be off somewhat, causing these weird issues. I see it in the log file as well with the audio, and I'm guessing why audio stopped. This is extremely unusual and I don't think I've ever really seen this happen before with a laptop. Usually this sort of thing only happens with people overclock their computer improperly, it affects their computer frequency and clock timing and it causes OBS' timing calculation to go all screwy, but you can't really do that sort of thing with a laptop.

Try this out:
Open a command prompt as administrator
Type in: bcdedit /set useplatformclock true
Restart your computer and see if it affects anything

Didn't seem to help much. I switched the audio from the Elgato to my line in (I listen to it from my headphones - Audio is out of sync due to me, not OBS). My main concern however is the video. Changed a few settings back to the defaults.
Log File attached.

Should I try streaming something that is in a native 60fps?

Elgato
They've pushed out an update that improved the basic streaming, but technically my computer isn't powerful enough to use the software they provide to stream. Thus is why I use OBS.
But since the update, the gameplay slowdown hasn't been fixed.
I would re-install your OS.

to be honest I use and asus g72gx I had the older legato and it just broke so I got the new Elgato Hd 60 and now I have to downscale everything and STILL NO LUCK.............. before I could stream 3500 Mbps @ 50 FPS with no dropped frames green All the way and now I get dropped frames High Encoding and I downscaled it to the lowest ratings and no luck

Dropped frames has to do with your internet connection.
