Hey guys, sorry if this isn't in the right section or is a common issue, but I recently purchased an Elgato HD60 to stream my Xbox One to Twitch, after setting everything up everything was going fine other than a few 'jumpy' seconds of footage. However today, every so often my captured footage will freeze but my overlay, music and voice is still going through fine. This results in me having to end the stream, unplug the Elgato, plug it in again then restart the stream only for it to happen again after a while. I have no idea what the issue is and why it's happening so often today, any help would be greatly appreciated.
I opened task manager to check the usage and I was hitting 66%-82% CPU usage while streaming or preview streaming which seems insanely high. Do you think it's something to do with the CPU or not?
My PC specs are:
Processor (CPU) - Intel® Core™i5 Quad Core Processor i5-3570K (3.4GHz) 6MB Cache
Motherboard - ASUS® P8Z77-V LK: PCI-E 3.0 READY, SLI, CROSSFIREX
Memory - (RAM) 8GB KINGSTON HYPER-X GENESIS DUAL-DDR3 1600MHz, X.M.P (2 x 4GB KIT)
Graphics Card - 1GB AMD RADEON™ HD7770 - DVI,HDMI - DX® 11
CORSAIR 650W VS SERIES™ VS-650 POWER SUPPLY
Super Quiet 22dBA Triple Copper Heatpipe Intel CPU Cooler
Cheers guys!
