Elgato HD60 and Camlink 4k stutter unless using Elgato software

Hello everyone, I hope you can help. Whether using my Elgato HD 60 or Camlink 4k, both stutter every 10 seconds, but both work seamlessly if running through the Elgato Game Capture HD software. This leads me to believe it is not an issue with my computer.

Can anybody hazard a guess to why they stutter without being run through the software?

This is definitely not a computer issue as both the Camlink 4k and Elgato HD 60 work with no issues in other broadcast software such as Xsplit. This is definitely an OBS issue. I would love to stay with OBS, so I hope someone can suggest a fix.

Thank you for the reply, but it is not an issue of using 2 camlinks on one root hub. This is an issue whether using one or both of the capture cards. And again, it works flawlessly on other broadcasters. It is only an issue in OBS
