Last night I was streaming my PS3 through OBS without any need for the Elgato software. It worked perfectly fine as a video capture device in OBS. However, when I try to do the same with my XBOX, OBS freezes up and crashed the moment I switch the settings to capture it. OBS then refuses to relaunch, or be removed from the task manager until I restart my computer. Not sure if this is a driver issue that is different between XBOX and PS3, or if there is some incompatibility with the XBOX Elgato setting and OBS.
