Question / Help Elgato Game Capture HD Red Screen

Hi everyone,

been trying to get the Elgato Game Capture HD card to display as a source in OBS. I can add a Video Capture Device source and choose the card as the camera, but it just shows up as a red box. We've tried doing this in both the latest stable and latest release version and with the Elgato Software running and without...

Any ideas as to what we're missing?

I have the same issue (not with Elgato, but the red screen. is there some kind of software that can help?
 
Elgato should work. I'm not entirely sure. May I see a log file? EMpoe - would have to know what device and see a log file as well, though if it's a hauppauge or roxio, they're not supported currently.
 
That isn't an elgato device you linked, and your log file also doesn't have any record of you trying to use a device. I need a log file of you trying to use the device.
