Hello Ladies and Gentlemen, i was wondering is you all could help me with an issue that has been bugging the hell out of me for the last few days.

My Elgato Game Capture HD's sound is out of sync and i have done all i could find here to the best of my knowledge.

i have 3 different logs files from tonight and 9 different audio tests that i have conducted without me being able to complete my task.

Those of you with better ears or arent so tired as me right willing to lend me a hand? Thanks, Grizz.

I'll post the 9 tests i've done for now, the logs are on my second pc.

In Advanced options change your Scene Buffering Time (milliseconds): to 700. Make sure you also ticked Use Buffering in your elgato source properties.

The buffer on the Elgato isn't the same thing as the scene buffer. Adding a 0-buffer on the Elgato is a device buffer. Different things.

Okay so scene buffer at 700 and elgato should have no buffer but should be on?

change your MIC TIME OFFSET to 1400 or 1500
This is not a requirement to syncing my audio, the only thing that matters is the sound from desktop not the mic audio. they are not the same thing.

Tried turning on "Force desktop audio to use video timestamps as a base for audio time" but still no luck.

I am still hearing the sound before I see what is causing the sound to be made

Okay ladies and gentlemen, i have found a solution using the help of some other posted topics and idea from others.

Hopefully those out there who use Elgato's products can see this and get some insight/problem solving done out of this last post.

I increased the global audio offset to 1450 to set it in time with my Elgato. My Scene buffer time is 700 ms and in the device settings for the Elgato buffering and is set at 0 ms. I ran into issues with my webcam though but solved it by setting my webcam in time with the global offset. Since the mic worked before the Global offset I logically assumed (after numerous tries) that I should be able to make the webcam wait for the audio via mic to be played.

So just so it is clear
Advanced >> Scene Buffer = 700 ms
Advanced >> Global Audio Offset = 1450 ms
Device Settings >> Elgato Game Capture HD >> Buffer is Checked @ 0 ms
Device Settings >> (Your specific webcam here) >> Buffer is Checked @ 1450
Audio >> Mic Time Offset >> none

Notes : I am using a Logitech HD Webcam C525, I can not guarantee that this will work for every device out there. But it has worked for mine.
