Hi Forum,
I'm new to Stream/Recording game plays and the first program I was shown was OBS.
The first few weeks of recording I had no issues. I plugged the Elgato in correctly and started recording game plays while testing out for my future streams. One day the audio just completely stopped in OBS and the only program the audio will pick up through is Elgato Game Cap - Which is annoying because it was working fine with OBS. This is telling me my PS4 settings should be fine and there's no issue with the cables. Video works fine also
I've also since updated both Elgato Game Cap & OBS but haven't had any luck.
I also use a headset for my PS4 that uses both USB & Optical Cable (All I had to do was change audio output to TV / Amplifier) - Again which works fine with Elgato Game Cap
Am i missing something in regards to a setting in OBS?
Also, I just noticed:
- When I am using OBS with the audio coming from my TV/Monitor (No headset plugged in at all) the sound on my monitor completely stops working
- Again, this issue isn't happening when in Elgato Game Cap
