Elgato Audio being picked up by desktop audio

My Elgato audio is being picked up by my desktop audio, i use a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 ,my mic is working great but i have double game audio ive been trying for months to fix this but nothing, i think i should give up my streaming dream :(

Our experience with a Behringer XENYX X1222USB: the usb cable from the mixer must be plugged into the laptop before starting it up. Otherwise we've encountered similar issues. (This might not be related at all, I know. But it's a simple step.)
