Question / Help Elgato and OBS software on my PC???

I want to try a PS4, elgato and OBS setup for streaming. But before i actually buy an elgato, I want to make sure if my laptop can handle broadcasting with these set up.

Specs are:
Core i7-4500u @1.8GHz 2.4GHz
4GB ram
64 bit.

If your computer have USB 3.0, try to go for USB 3.0 capture card, Elgato HD60-S is one of them.

Older Elgato USB 2.0 have quite a lot of capture delay (about 1 second) which can be a problem with OBS.

Your CPU only have 2 cores 4 threads,

It will still be fine for 720p 30 fps (not sure about 60 fps) as USB 3.0 have less CPU load compared to USB 2.0 elgato when used with OBS.

Thanks! anyone else who actually tried with these specs? I believe i got only USB 2.0 so what I'm planning to get is just the elgato hd60. not pro or s.
