I wanted to extend this conversation over to y'all guys who actually look into the grits of things of OBS.
---> Conversation for content what I did to solve a potential stutter / judder issue with Elgato 4k PRO / 4k60 mk2 internal capture cards.
---> Video on my quick test in comparison - https://youtu.be/Xl_EAZMpErY?si=PkG2D1qKmUAmrLWE
Now I want to pick the brains of y'all to understand why does this work so well for me lol. I am stupid because 144hz passthrough doesn't split frames evenly between 60 but clearly the video shows it works. I have more judder / stutter issues when doing MERGE or DISPLAY capture but doing 1440p144 on INTERNAL with G-Sync / VRR on. Limit games to 144 fps.
*NOTE* I know the 4k PRO is a waste, if you have a 4k60 mk2, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. The Passthrough CONFIRMED at 1440p240 is false, when you do such it will downscale to 720p240.
We were lied to.
