Bug Report El Gato game capture, not working with new update

My el gato has been fine with obs for a really long time, but this update did something. It doesnt work atm. It is very buzzy, and over half of the picture is gone. Please fix :D

Open the Elgato's video capture source properties and set a custom resolution that matches the input going to the Elgato. For example if your console is running at 1280x720, set that as the custom resolution.

I am also having the same issue.

this is on 1080p which is my input for xbox to elgato to screen but it gets all wonky.
Just thought i would share a screenshot. It worked fine yesterday but the updated might of goofballed something.

I will try 1280x720 as you stated but I just wanted to give me side of the issue.

I'm also having this issue, now with my Mega Drive using a custom resolution - it just crashes every time and it never did before.

I did what the mod recommended and it did work. Thanks for the help! Hope it works for you too Vaughn! The only problem is that it's not gonna be the bigger resolution

yea, setting every one to 1280x720 works for me but man... I hate when things change lol Hopefully this will get fixed.

Every time i try and preview stream or start streaming it just crashes. Idk what to do. Ive reinstalled it and still nothing :/

This was fixed in 0.635b. Go to your help menu and click "check for updates".

I don't want to keep beating a dead horse here but I have been having an issue when I stop streaming and have my Elgato still active in sources it locks up OBS... so I have to end process. Then when I try to stream again and open OBS... the Elgato source says no signal and when I open Game Capture HD (Elgato program) to test it there it says "Currently being used" even tho OBS is shut down.

Just giving a heads up, not sure if this is a legit problem or me just over thinking something. I am going to do a clean reinstall of OBS and see if it keeps doing it.
