Question / Help El Gato composite to XBox doesn't work in OBS

I have an original XBox, which I've connected to Elgato with the composite cable (that comes with the Elgato). The Elgato HD software works fine. But in OBS, the TV display goes blue and OBS says "no signal" when preview stream is selected.

I also have an XBox 360, which I can connect via HDMI and with that device OBS works fine.

I'm sure there is a configuration parameter that I don't know about to get the XBox Classic to stream.

Anyone?

Hm, not entirely sure, I think there might be issues with the composite signal for the elgato in OBS right now, though not 100% sure at this point in time.

The Elgato comes with Composite inputs? I thought it only came with Component for analog input.

You can use the component cables as composite. Anyways, while the OBS preview is on. Open the Game Capture HD properties in OBS. Then click on configure. Make sure the composite/component cable input is selected.
