Effects Dissolve (morph - relative objects between scenes).

Hi all,

**edit.. asking for this as a transition feature.

Effects dissolve is a term used with broadcast production switchers. It interpolates one snapshot (scene) to the other.

Example: a 2-camera 2-box, two scenes. Both scenes identical, but Scene 1 the right box is bigger and Scene 2 the left box is bigger. Choosing 'effects dissolve' between the two scenes would "grow" the smaller box to big and the bigger box to small.

Example attached. Thanks all!

The "Move Transition" plug-in can do that if you add some "Move Source" filters to the scene. Add a filter for each source's starting and ending position, size, etc. for the sources you want to change. Add two hot-key triggers, one to activate the filters to change to one size, location, etc., and a second to activate the filters to go the other direction.

Install the "Move Transition" plug-in. It will appear as a choice to add a new transition in the "Scene Transitions" widget. Do that.

Create two scenes with the same set of sources. Arrange the sources in one scene as you want them at the start of the transition. Arrange the sources in the other scene as you want them at the end of the transition.

Set the "Transition Override" on both scenes too use that Move Transition you added.

Now when you switch from one scene to the other they will morph the sizes and locations of those sources.
