Hi,
I have experienced a bug (and another user confirmed on the IRC channel) this issue that the resized source is not maintained.
Background: My default monitor resolution is 1920x1200. This is the resolution I play my games at. I want to downscale to 1680x1050 which is 1 step down from my 16:10 resolution, but OBS doesn't have it for some reason. It only has 1.5x at 1280x800 which is SO far below my original resolution that I don't want to use that.
Here is what I am trying to do instead
1. Set base resolution to 1680x1050
2. Edit Scene and shrink the source to fit. I use Ctrl+F, mouse resize it down, and Ctrl+C to center it. This is a lot of fudge work until I am able to fit perfectly my 1920x1200 material into the 1680x1050.
3. Stream/record my stuff works perfectly
4. Shutdown everything. Game and OBS.
5. Restart OBS
6. Launch my game
7. Right click on my Game Capture source and select my game application instead of whatever browser it was on
8. Preview --> Edit Scene --> the source sizing I originally had is now lost  It seems to save the location just fine, but not the sizing. The top left is in the same spot, but it is now too large.
