Question / Help [EDIT] EasyCap/OBS Have Video & Sound! Can I Improve Video?

I apologize. Other message boards I've used encourage simply changing the OP or they'd give you a negative mark for multiple unnecessary posts in an instance such as this. Was just a habit of my experience.

I'm hoping to stream some old console games for a friend and sadly all I have for the time being is an EasyCap USB.

Just want to clarify since pretty much everything I have read is based on recording and then edit the video. I am hoping to LIVE stream for friends. Not record and edit.

Running the audio through another cable into a microphone port has fixed my sound issues. Now I'm wondering if I can at the very least make the video image look a little clearer. I've tried the Deinterlacing options, but none of them have any noticeable effect. I figured I'd try the Sharpness setting, but it's greyed out for me.

Longer video with actual gameplay so you can see how the quality looks in motion.

Made sure it's the log from that video in case that matters.
Here's the log:

Re: EasyCap/OBS Have Video, But No Sound

Most easycap devices are fake and don't work with sound. I'd advise you just to change your device because the time you'll put into the easycap is really not worth it.

Re: EasyCap/OBS Have Video, But No Sound

I don't have the money. And I know the sound works on this one. I used it on my old PC, but that's before I discovered OBS and installed my EasyCap on this new PC, which is why I'm asking for help.

Also, and I'm sorry if I come as rude, but telling someone not to use something instead of trying to fix it isn't what I'd consider a helpful reply.

Re: EasyCap/OBS Have Video, But No Sound

Well, yeah... that is kind of rude indeed.

Regardless, concerning the audio quality -- OBS cannot improve audio quality beyond what is actually generated. It is a capturing/broadcasting software, not a sound processing software. So, the only solution would be to improve the sound quality actually generated by the device. Which may or may not be possible with a driver update, if there is one for the device in question.

Alternatively, you could see if your soundcard has some advanced options to improve on sound quality in general.

It sounds like the OP saying that sound works fine, and it's video quality he's wanting to improve now.
Yes, annoying he keeps editing his first post; it mentioned a poor audio quality previously.

Ah. OP, if your situation changes, then either post a reply, or keep your original OP intact when you edit to add new info, please.

After looking at the video, I'm honestly not sure if there's much you can do to make it look better. It's 480i standard definition video on a (frankly) cheap capture device. If you want better quality, you should look into getting a component cable for the Wii and a device that can capture 480p component video.

Moved everything to first post for simplicity.
Honestly, can I ask you to stop doing that? That is not how to most effectively use a bulletin board such as this one. People are accustomed to simply checking the most recent posts, not with having to go back to the first post over and over again. Becomes somewhat of a nuisance after several pages of responses have been reached.

It also makes it somewhat challenging to keep track of the order in which things happened, the logical order to the discussion/conversation.

I was all but certain that would be the case, but thank you for looking into it. I was originally hoping it wouldn't be that bad since it was just Wii games, but clearly a lot is lost in translation with composite video into an EasyCap. I am hoping to get something better that can take component or even HDMI input so I can capture from my Wii U and PS3. Also, I want to apologize again for any inconvenience I made with my posts and editing. I will be sure not to do that in the future if/when I need further assistance.
