Question / Help Echo: Mic & Desktop Audio after ~ 30mins of Streaming

Just recently downloaded OBS and have started streaming on twitch.tv/tlcm_

The issue that I am running into is about 30 minutes into streaming feedback is occurring. Desktop audio is played back as well as my Mic. From what I can gather it seems to be a cumulative effect gradually getting worse and worse as the stream continues.

Solutions to similar issues that I have found of the forums have not been impactful i.e. Muting a stream that I have up in another tab (i don't stream with anything open.)

Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated because as of this time it is near impossible to stream. I will be happy to provide any further information/ answer any questions to help this issue resolved.

Some suggestions:
- Make sure you know what default playback and default recording devices are being used in Windows Sound Panel
- Disable all audio devices in Windows Sound Panel for which you are not using
- Set your audio devices in OBS Audio category correctly. OBS Desktop Audio is the default playback device. OBS Mic/Aux is the default recording device. Set them explicitly to the audio device rather than use Default (because you may change the defaults and forget).
- Match OBS Audio sample rate with what you set your playback and recording audio devices default format in Windows Sound Panel. That will be tied to channel(s) at 48000 hz (48khz) or 44000 hz (44.1khz). To save upload bandwidth, you can just use 44000.
- Sometimes you may have to choose only 1 channel as the default format instead of 2 channel for the audio device. This true for audio interfaces with XLR mics.
- If you have a webcam, mute the mic, don't tick a track, and set audio monitoring to monitor only (mute output). This, to avoid duplication/echo with what is is on your mic and webcam.
- Click the cog wheel in the OBS Mixer panel and play around with the advanced audio properties "Audio monitoring" drop down.

Monitor Off = You won't hear audio on the Monitoring device you set in OBS Audio; the audio source will be recorded/streamed on the tracks you ticked
Monitor Only = you will hear audio on the Monitoring device you set in OBS Audio for the source but it will not be captured in recordings or stream
Monitor and Output = You will hear audio on the Monitoring device and it will be captured onto tracks you ticked
