1. Do those typical HDMI cards only work on a certain Mac OS or higher cuz I noticed it works with HDMI content and VGA content converted back to HDMI on an OS 10.13 machine with the latest version of obs, but my older Mac,which captures perfectly fine with one of those easy cap s video and composite cards, is having trouble with component. I assume my Hauppauge Rocket works correctly what it converts composite, S-Video and components to HDMI,. However the Apple software is kind of clunky and using VLC might be limited by my bandwidth limit, plus the feed is always at least 10 seconds behind using the Apple version of the Hauppauge software, which is unacceptable.
If using one of those $10 HDMI stuff will help me connect all devices to my Mac and doesn't automatically ruin analog connections which I heard os 10.13 does (but then again, I read it's the difference between a 32-bit driver and a 64-bit driver of EZCap.)
Just checking to see if everything makes sense.
