I'm trying to digitalise my old video8 home tapes to digital format.
bought in 2020 EasyCap USB 2.0 (Kai.Ping)
Installed the softare, the transfer program wich is very poor ( I have no video in it)
When capturing the video, the final output is black and white / distorted / occasionally watered down colurs, video blinks like a damaged tape (the tape looks perfect when hooked to a TV, Im using a Sony video Hi 8 deck. I tested again with a VHS and the very same problem. S-video and composite, same result.
I have tried in different computers with:
- WIN 7 (64)
-WIN 7 (32)
- WIN 10 (64)
All the same result, tried all the settings in OBD, still the same or no picture
Regarding audio, no problem
Attached an image of the issue, (the vertical thin red line is due to screen malfunction of my laptop)
Please advise?
