If you create a side plugin for ONLY the delay feature, it will be a massive one for FPS streamers who want Delay when playing (for the game, mic and camera) and then Live when chatting! Is this possible?

being able to have a whole scene delayed in another scene (so scene in a scene) would be great

Ahh okay! I think time is hard as I am on the other side of the world - perhaps a recorded demo if possible? It would allow users who click on the plugin to see how it works immediately.
 
I also tried adding the Video Filter to a scene, and the Audio Filter to a few audio inputs. However when the filter is on, it doesn't seem to delay?

v1.8.1 — Compatibility update

Fixes loading on OBS Studio 32.2.x. OBS 32.2 shipped a newer FFmpeg (avcodec 62 / avutil 60 / swscale 9); the plugin was rebuilt against it, so it loads again instead of failing silently on startup.

  • Fixed: plugin not loading on OBS 32.2.2 ("module not loaded", LoadLibrary error 126) due to the FFmpeg version bump.
  • No feature or settings changes — your backups, delays and Web/Stream boxes work exactly as before...

  • Sources that follow the delay switch — each source can be set to "show while the delay is ON" or "show while the delay is OFF", and the plugin shows or hides it automatically, in every scene it appears in. Typical use: a full-screen capture that is only visible without delay, and a game-only capture that is only visible with delay — the same delay key swaps them...
