Measuring game loudness via Adobe Audition reveals that each game must be adjusted manually. Typically voice will be at -24 lkfs and game audio will be at -32 lkfs. To achieve this Setting Volume Mixer to 100 and then setting Warframe to 80 and Path of Exile to 50 as my examples will yield equal loudness of -32 lkfs. We assume maximum volume levels set within the game itself. You can then reduce the master volume as obs isn't dependent on it, only the specific volume sliders for each game/program.
The most common thing I see on streams are incorrect audio levels and high resolution low bitrate resulting in blockiness.
edit: Republic Commando is set to -18 in the volume mixer to provide equal loudness
