Dynamic Chroma key / per scene webcam settings

I've had a good search, but apologies in advance if I've missed either of these.

Ok so first a dynamic chroma key option for camera feeds.

I game on a big projector meaning even with good room lighting the green screen gets punched with changing light from the giant screen, this means that the chroma has to have a huge similarity setting to compensate and therefore gives a less than ideal effect.

It seems it would be pretty easy to have the chroma key update on every frame if I gave it a pixel (or maybe 4 pixels that could be averaged?) near the top corner of my green screen where I know I'm never going to be in front of. this should allow a much improved chroma key effect without going mad on the similarity value. - I am a programmer by trade so I can have a look into doing this as a side project / plugin if you think it not mainstream enough, please let me know.

Secondly, since you cant use a single camera source in two global sources can we at least have the settings for the camera such as resolution / chroma key / gamma saved per scene, The current solution is to use splitcam or manycam so you can have duplicate the input but those are pretty horrible messy bits of software just for a simple core function. having a way to edit settings of the global source per scene (I know that sounds stupid but you know what I mean) would be a great workaround.
